Purpose:
- Collect optical sections from fluorescent samples.
- Optical sections can be used for 3-D reconstruction or for in focus infrormation at several optical depths.
- Collect optical sections with water immersion lenses from petri dishes, culture plates, etc.
- Instrument set-up for time series (4-D series).
Equipment Specifications:
- Bio-Rad MRC 1024 Confocal Laserhead on upright microscope: Olympus AX-70.
- The AX-70 is outfitted for UV capture.
- Bio-Rad Laser Sharp 3.0 Software
- Confocal Assistant
